How We Can Help

Our Philosophy and Approach

Children who learn self-regulation early on are better equipped to handle life’s inevitable stressors, and they often develop stronger conflict resolution skills, relationships, and greater academic and social success.

We utilize a self-regulation approach and growth-focused mindset to teach children to manage their emotions, behaviors, and responses to stress. Through these approaches children learn to manage their own stress and reactions resulting in resilient, confident, and capable adults.

What We Bring

We have over 20-years of experience working with local families and supporting parents through the challenges they face raising children. With experience, education and compasion we understand the many barriers that prevent conflict resolution, impact communication, and create on going stress for you and your child.

We’re here to help when you:

  • have tried everything you can think of to help your child ... and they're still struggling.
  • find that parenting is so much harder for you … than it seems it is for other families.
  • are worried your child is too often stressed ... and not thriving.
  • know how amazing your child can be when they're relaxed and happy ... but much of the time they're struggling.
  • see your child doing well at school ... but falling apart when they get home.
  • and your partner are not on the same page about how to deal with (fill in the blank) with your child.
  • keep getting calls from school but you don’t know what to do.
  • have well-meaning and supportive family and friends giving you advice and you don’t know who to listen to.
  • want to set reasonable limits with your child, but meltdowns and tantrums happen every time you try.
  • are at risk of your child being removed from their daycare/preschool because of their behavior.
  • when your child is having big emotional reactions and you’re wondering if it’s age appropriate or a phase.
  • appreciate the support you have from friends and family, but conflict keeps arising because you have different perspectives on parenting and discipline.
  • feel like you’re floundering with how to allow your child’s emotional waves while setting limits and teaching them important life lessons.
  • see your own weaknesses in your child, and don’t want them to struggle like you have.
  • wonder if you’re doing what needs to be done to help your child thrive in the challenges of today’s world.
